Choosing the right filling method is critical for your packaging line. The "right" choice depends on whether you prioritize a perfectly uniform fill line (Level) or an exact legal dosage (Volumetric).
1. Level Fillers (Shelf Aesthetics)
Level fillers ensure every container is filled to the exact same height from the rim. This is the industry standard for retail presentation in glass bottles and is also the primary mechanism for our specialized benchtop canning systems.
Electronic & Sensor-Based Level Fillers
These modern systems use high-precision sensors to stop the fill at a specific height, ensuring consistency across different batches.
MB Orthos Can Fillers: Uses aero-grade pressure sensors to measure fill height with +/- 1mm accuracy. It is the professional choice for consistent benchtop canning.
Cannular Can & Bottle Filler: A WiFi-enabled, RAPT-integrated unit. It uses an internal sensor to fill to a precise level and allows you to save "Fill Profiles" for different containers.
XpressFill Level Fillers (XF2100 / XF4100): These high-end benchtop units use a sensor probe to shut off the fill at the desired height. They are ideal for hand-blown or specialty glass where internal volume varies but the shelf look must be perfect.
Gravity Level Fillers
The most reliable, mechanical way to achieve a consistent fill height. These are divided into two distinct tiers:
Marchisio Stainless Steel Benchtop Fillers: High-quality, manual level fillers with 3 or 5 spouts. These feature a mechanical float valve and drip-free spouts.
EnoItalia Gravity Fillers: These range from professional benchtop models to trolley-mounted systems. Built for high-volume still wine production, they are often equipped with integrated pumps and electronic level sensors to manage high throughput.
Vacuum Level Fillers
Ideal for wine and spirits because the vacuum "pulls" the liquid, naturally purging oxygen and minimizing foaming.
Enolmatic & Enolmaster: The standard for small-to-medium wineries.
ILTEC Ultrafillers: Professional 316 stainless steel units. Includes the "Pomodoro" head for thick sauces/syrups and Mixed Spout heads for filling multiple bottle sizes at once.
Counter-Pressure Level Fillers
Used for carbonated drinks to keep CO2 in the liquid by pressurizing the bottle before filling.
MicroMatic CP Fillers: Heavy-duty commercial units.
XpressFill Counter-Pressure (XF2500 / XF4500): Precision counter-pressure filling for bottles and cans (XF4500C) from a pressurized keg or brite tank.
MoreBeer! Counter-Pressure Filler: The classic handheld tool for bottling from a keg.
2. Volumetric Fillers (Precise Dosage)
Volumetric fillers dispense an exact volume of liquid regardless of bottle height or shape. This is required for industries with strict legal weight/volume compliance where the consumer must receive a specific amount (e.g., exactly 355ml or 750ml).
XpressFill Volumetric Fillers (XF260 / XF460): These use a high-precision digital timer and self-priming pumps to dispense an exact volume. They are the top choice for distilled spirits, oils, and vinegars where legal accuracy is paramount.
ILTEC Volumetric Series: Configurable Italian systems designed for high-accuracy commercial dosing of liquids and spirits.
