Concentrate kits are a great place to start because they are stable, geared toward a novice and usually come with a cheaper price tag than fresh grapes. Fresh grapes are more expensive, unstable and require crushing + pressing but they give you more control over the final product and can potentially yield a superior product. Overall we have seen far more bad wines from fresh grapes but we have also seen the best wine from grapes.
